No Such Luck
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
As a young man, he left home immediately after high school, and has spent the last two years alone, in seclusion recovering (From what? You'll find out in the Prologue!), and is finally ready to re-enter the world, ready to join his friends in college. Will it be drugs, sex and rock'n'roll? Or did he never truly get over what happened?
No Such Luck includes multiple Free-Roam events. Easy navigation is made possible either by on-screen arrows, or an easy to use navigation menu at the bottom of the screen, pictured here!
Also includes a phone with playable minigames, text messaging, and more. All minigames are entirely optional, and can be disabled if you prefer. No content is locked behind minigames, so if you hate them? Turn them off!
Also included is an opacity slider for the text box. Want it to be a nice dark background? Or completely gone? Up to you!
Throughout the game you will be presented with a number of choices - many related to how you adapt and deal with the events of the Prologue. These interactions will shape your character as you progress, and may affect how others view you.
With a cast of 40+ characters, There's a little something for everyone! Humor? Sure! Intrigue? Mystery? Romance? Some good old fashioned sex? We got you covered. Wanna see some guy get kicked in the sack? Well have I got news for you!
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This game is currently in development, as Early Access. As such, the total content at current time is between 2-6 hrs (depending on how fast you read, whether you're interested in optional paths/etc). Some people may think "Man, that's a high price tag for such little content!". The price is set for the full season of content which will be multiple hours of playtime. All future season updates will be contained in the purchase price, at no additional cost. This note will be edited (and eventually removed) as more content is added.
If you'd rather just grab single chapters, vs pre-purchasing the entire season now, Chapter 1 through 4 are available at https://www.patreon.com/Cskingames . All future chapters will also be released via patreon!
Enjoy - No Such Luck!

where do you stand on the development process? also is pregnancy planned? (i know its early but got to ask) multiple endings like Alive?
Re: development process - Chapter 3 is only a couple of weeks from release. As far as everything else goes, I prefer not to talk too much about future plans at this time - though I will confirm that multiple endings are planned - and at this time pregnancy is not planned as a major plotline. (I won't rule out including it entirely as sometimes plans do change - but if it was included, it would be minor and not a major focus of the story)
My patreon page posts weekly updates for subscribers - as well as public posts whenever I have release info to announce. One such post was put up just a few hours ago - so if you don't want to subscribe but want to be notified of release info, feel free to follow the page (Or my twitter - @cskingames). Other than that I'll always post a small dev blog on release day here on itch.
will this be on steam before its fully completed?
Will it be on Steam? Yes.... beyond that I can't actually provide any details since nothing has been nailed down yet, and I don't wish to provide information that might change before then. So all I can confirm for now is it will be on Steam - other details are yet to be determined.
cant wait for the steam release i loved alive and ive played this one so far and i really like the story looking forward to the future updates
Will this game be longer than Alive?
Significantly, yes.
